MOU between DICJ and UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme

The Deposit Insurance Corporation of Japan (DICJ) and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) of the United Kingdom announce their agreement to an MOU for the purpose of cooperation between the two organizations. The MOU was signed by Masanori Tanabe, Governor of the DICJ, and Mr. Mark Neale, Chief Executive of the FSCS, on November 12th, 2013. This MOU promotes mutual cooperation, including bilateral meetings, information sharing, and personnel exchange between the two organizations. 


The Financial Conduct Authority website includes a searchable database of all firms authorised and regulated by the FCA and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).


The Financial Ombudsman Service is the official independent expert in settling complaints between consumers and financial businesses
