Big thinker wanted by Financial Services Compensation Scheme

FSCS is seeking to hire a dynamic, big thinking, inspirational partner to define its media channel, planning and buying strategy. FSCS was set up by Parliament in 2001 to deal with compensation claims when financial firms go out of business and provides an impartial free service to customers. The chosen partner will drive awareness and understanding of FSCS and its work, and its ability to communicate often complex subjects simply is vital.

Lila Pleban, Head of Digital and Marketing at FSCS said, “We want a dynamic partner to work with us on the strategy, planning and delivery of campaigns across multiple channels. The agency will also challenge our established processes to improve them, and as FSCS’s work is often complex, the ability to explain it in a clear and impactful way that really grabs attention is a must. There is of course the need to take an empathetic approach to communicate with consumers. It’s an exciting time at FSCS as we have launched our new strategy: FSCS into the 2020s, and our chosen partner will work with us to take it forward.”

The initial contract is for 24 months, but it is subject to renewal for a period up to four years.

Tenders or requests to participate must be sent to Financial Services Compensation Scheme, Beaufort House, 15 St. Botolph Street, London EC3A 7QU. Additional information can be requested from FSCS by 12noon on 12 June 2019.

The procurement documents are available for unrestricted and full direct access, free of charge, on OJEU at: ted.europa.eu

Since 2001, FSCS has protected more than 4.5m people and paid out £26bn in compensation.
