FSCS Update - Carleton Credit Union Going Bankrupt

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has recently become aware of Carleton Credit Union Limited, situated in Portadown, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. The Credit Union has now given up its permissions and as a result will not be able to pay out any money to customers.

FSCS is currently working with the Carleton Credit Union Limited and the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), to see whether we can help.

FSCS protects deposits up to the £85,000 limit per individual and will get that money back to savers in 7 days or less when a bank, building society or credit union goes out of business.
