Update for clients of Hartmann Capital Limited

FSCS will soon commence payment of compensation to eligible clients of Hartmann Capital Limited who have agreed their account balance with the Special Administrators. 

Payments will be made using the data received from the Special Administrators of Hartmann Capital Limited. In some cases, FSCS will send an application form in order to determine if a payment can be made.

Clients who have not agreed their account balances with the Special Administrators are advised to do so, as FSCS can only use agreed balances to make compensation payments.

FSCS will pay compensation to all eligible clients in UK pounds sterling, in the form of a separate cheque per account held.

Individual clients holding one account who are due less than £50,000 in compensation

The compensation level will be the value of their total agreed balance, less any payments already received from the Special Administrators. Fees, if relevant, will be taken into account.

Completion of an FSCS application form will not be required. 

Other clients

FSCS will shortly send application forms for compensation to these clients. The application form should be completed as fully as possible detailing all accounts held with Hartmann Capital Limited. It should then be returned along with supporting documentation to the address stated on the application form or using the enclosed pre-paid envelope.
