Alvarium Fund Managers (UK) Limited (AFM) has been authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) since 28 December 2016.
On 10 July 2025, AFM and AlTi Re Ltd (ARE) entered administration. Matthew Mawhinney and David Philip Soden of Teneo Financial Advisory Limited have been appointed as joint administrators.
ARE and AFM were part of AlTi’s international real estate business, which was an independently managed arranger and distributor of real estate transactions.
FSCS is working closely with the administrators to understand and monitor the situation, including the nature of any customer claims or losses, and to assess whether there may be any claims eligible for FSCS protection. FSCS will not be opening to claims against Alvarium Fund Managers (UK) Ltd (AFM) as we are not satisfied that there are any valid claims.
Since our last update on 15 July 2025, FSCS has been working closely with Teneo Financial Advisory Ltd, the Joint Administrators of AFM, to determine whether there may be valid claims regarding AFM.
Overall, we have not identified any eligible claimants that have suffered loss that FSCS can compensate under our rules, set for us by the Financial Conduct Authority. Consequently, we don't currently consider that there are any valid claims regarding AFM.This means that we are not accepting claims against AFM at this time.
