FSCS protection only applies to certain types of activity. This does not include electronic money and payment services.

FSCS protection may exist for eligible customers in relation to client money a firm holds as part of its wealth management services. FSCS is working with the JSAs to determine whether the Argentex customers who have client money with Argentex in connection with its wealth management services are eligible for this protection.

FSCS will not be open to customer claims right now, but we will be investigating whether any claims are possible and how best to deal with these. As part of this investigation, we will be working closely with the JSAs and the FCA.

The latest news regarding our work on Argentex will appear on this page. We will update this page as our investigations progress. Customers should subscribe to this page to receive the latest updates.

Please be alert to scams. FSCS will never ask for payment to make a claim or receive compensation – our service is free. If you receive any suspicious contact please reach out to us directly using the details found on our contact us page.
