You might be eligible for compensation
On 25 March 2026, in response to a winding-up petition from the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”), the Court ordered Equity For Growth (Securities) Limited (“EFG”) be wound up. The Official Receiver has been appointed to wind up EFG and liquidate any assets.
EFG is a corporate finance firm directly authorised since May 2008. EFG’s activities included the approval of financial promotions for entities raising funds through the issuance of mini bonds.
EFG hosted five appointed representatives between October 2015 and June 2020. During this period, EFGs business activities were commonly undertaken through its appointed representatives. EFG’s appointed representatives included Osborne Baldwin Ltd, trading as Hunter Jones, (May 2018 to April 2020) and Amyma Limited (July 2018 to September 2019).
The Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) has published an update on its website.

FSCS is now open to customer claims.
If you believe you have a potential compensation claim against EFG, you can now bring that matter to us using our online claim service.
Although we are accepting claims against EFG, they will not be immediately passed to our claims processing teams for assessment. We are currently investigating the firm to determine whether claims meet the qualifying conditions for compensation, and this may take some time.
If you have already submitted a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (“FOS”) which was closed pending the outcome of the petition, FOS may contact you to request your permission to transfer your file to us. You will still need to make a claim to us, however you do not need to provide any evidence which is already held on your FOS file, provided your FOS file is transferred to us.
Any customers who have received payment for a FOS award in full and final settlement of their complaint should not make a complaint to FSCS about the same issue.
The latest news regarding our work on EFG will appear on this page. We will update this page as our investigations progress. Customers should subscribe to this page to receive the latest updates.
It’s free to make a claim with FSCS and you don’t need to use a representative or a solicitor. If you claim directly with us, you will receive 100% of any compensation.
Please be wary of scams. FSCS will never ask you for money to make a claim or receive compensation, as our service is free. If you are concerned about any contact you receive, please contact us directly using the details found on our contact us page.
