Independent Portfolio Managers customer information
This page is for former customers of Independent Portfolio Managers Ltd. (IPM), an investment management firm that failed and was declared in default by FSCS on 3 December 2018.
IPM provided private portfolio management services and managed a range of specialist funds for its clients. It was declared in default by FSCS on 3 December 2018.
How many customers are affected?
There are potentially 2000 UK customers that may be affected by the failure of IPM but the value of potential claims is still unknown. Many customers invested into one of two failed mini bonds which IPM had approved. We are aware that many former customers of IPM have outstanding complaints with the firm / Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) prior to it failing.
What do customers need to do?
All former IPM customers who think they are entitled to compensation should make a claim online with us as soon as possible. This is the fastest and easiest way to make a claim and you can also track the progress of your claim.
Who can customers speak to if they have any questions?
You can contact us if you have any questions about IPM or about making a claim against them. We will also continue to update this page with the latest developments. Get notification of the latest updates by following FSCS on Twitter and Facebook.
