FSCS is looking for customers of two firms under investigation to come forward
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is investigating two linked firms based in London, Cavendish Incorporated Ltd and Marvell Enterprises Limited. The firms have not currently been declared in default.
The FCA has taken action against these firms, alongside six others, as they are believed to be a risk to consumers. They are aware that consumers invested funds into ISAs, convertible bonds and loan notes issued by Cavendish.
These investments were made directly through Cavendish Incorporated, through its former appointed representative Cottesmore Associates Ltd, and through Marvell Enterprises. However, none of these companies were authorised by the FCA to provide regulated advice on investments.
As a result, FSCS is investigating these firms and considering whether valid claims for compensation exist under its rules.
FSCS is encouraging anyone who invested money through these firms to come forward. Evidence that former customers provide could be vital for our investigations.
You can contact FSCS by phone, email or live chat using the details on its website. If you wish to make a claim using FSCS’s service directly it’s free to do so, you can get started at https://claims.fscs.org.uk
