Tennyson Property Investments Ltd (TPI) is a property company based in Liverpool. Its activities include investing in residential property mainly in the North of England.
FSCS has received claims involving TPI and allegations linked to the possible unauthorised withdrawal of funds from a pension scheme. The investigation is ongoing and we have contacted third parties (including HMRC and the firm) to try and identify any evidence to support the customers' allegations. HMRC is still helping with our investigation.
We're at an advanced stage of the investigation and we plan to engage our legal team shortly to provide further guidance.

Our investigation into Tennyson Property Investments Ltd (TPI) has now finished. The FSCS legal team considered the available information and provided guidance about the potential ‘unauthorised’ withdrawal of funds from a pension scheme. During the investigation, FSCS requested information to help with the investigation from external bodies including HMRC and the firm itself.
Claims made against TPI have now all been moved to our claims processing teams for assessment. Decisions on these claims will be sent out shortly.
