Understanding shared banking authorisation
Some banks operate a number of brand names under one banking license. This means that you might only be protected up to £85,000* for the total amount of money you have across the brands covered. Lloyds Bank plc includes accounts in all its divisions and under trading names:
An eligible depositor’s £85,000* limit relates to the combined amount in all accounts with Lloyds Bank plc.
